Commercial Lines Account Executive
Job Summary
Seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Executive to join a this role you will be responsible for managing and growing a book of commercial insurance accounts ensuring excellent service delivery and building strong relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of commercial lines coverage and have a proven ability to anticipate and meet client needs proactively.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of commercial insurance clients maintaining strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Assess client needs and provide recommendations for coverage solutions to meet their business requirements.
- Prepare and review insurance policy renewals endorsements and certificates of insurance to ensure accuracy and proper coverage.
- Act as a liaison between clients insurance carriers and internal teams to handle policy changes claims and other service-related matters.
- Develop and implement strategies to retain existing clients and expand offerings through cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
- Collaborate with underwriters to negotiate terms conditions and premiums to secure favorable outcomes for clients.
- Stay current on industry trends market conditions and regulatory changes to provide informed advice and recommendations.
- Participate in client meetings presentations and business development initiatives as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records in the agency management system to ensure compliance and proper documentation.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial lines account management account executive or a related insurance role.
- Strong working knowledge of commercial insurance products policies and industry practices.
- Current and valid Property & Casualty Insurance License.
- Demonstrated skills in client management relationship building and communication.
- Superior organizational abilities with the capacity to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Proficient in agency management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and meet deadlines.
