Position Title: Standardized Patient (SP) for OSCE

Available: December 8 2025

Do you want to work for an organization where people care about each other We are currently looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Standardized this challenging position you will report to the OSCE Instructor.

JOB RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Accurately and realistically portray clinical scenarios and patient histories as trained.
  • Memorize relevant details and maintain consistency across multiple sessions and encounters.
  • Interact with examinees responding to questions as a patient would within the defined scenario parameters.
  • Provide verbal or written feedback to learners and evaluators regarding the communication and professionalism demonstrated during the encounter (as directed by faculty).
  • Participate fully in required training in advance of the OSCE (training will be compensated).
  • Adhere to strict confidentiality and professional standards in all exam and training activities.
  • Arrive punctually and reliably for all sessions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Clear effective verbal communication and active listening skills.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and reproduce assigned scenarios consistently.
  • Comfort working with learners and faculty in a clinical simulation environment.
  • Ability to receive and provide constructive feedback respectfully.
  • No prior acting or healthcare experience is needed; but preferred.

The rate of pay for this position is $17.60 per hour.

The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) established in 1978 is Canadas premier pan-Canadian academic institution for education and research in naturopathic medicine. CCNM has two campuses one in Toronto and another in the Metro Vancouver area known as the Boucher Campus. Its graduates are eligible to write the licensing examinations for all regulated jurisdictions in Canada and the United States to become naturopathic doctors.
