Quality Management (QM) Masters Level Intern Spring 2026
Were seeking a highly organized detail-oriented Masters level intern with strong writing and analytical skills to join our dynamic Quality Management (QM) team. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in health policy quality improvement and data-driven decision-making across a leading behavioral healthcare organization.
About the Quality Management Department
Riversides Quality Management Department oversees care for more than 40000 individuals each year. Our team monitors incidents conducts investigations manages the Human Rights system coordinates quality improvement initiatives and maintains program policies across a wide range of services.
As a Quality Management Intern youll work on meaningful projects that directly support Riversides mission to deliver safe high-quality care while ensuring regulatory compliance.
What Youll Do
Youll gain valuable experience by contributing to projects that enhance the quality and consistency of care across our programs including:
- Analyzing and identifying trends within Quality Managements data system
- Supporting Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives through data analysis and reporting
- Assisting in the development revision and organization of policies
- Updating client intake forms and creating master program lists to promote consistency across departments
- Reviewing client charts in the electronic health record system (EHR) to ensure documentation standards are met
Internship Details
- Schedule: Flexible 1020 hours per week (hybrid)
- Start Date: January 2026
- Compensation: Unpaid; ideal for students seeking course credit
- Orientation: Attendance at New Employee Orientation is required prior to starting

Required Experience
- Currently enrolled in a Masters degree program
