Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Product Thinking
- Align product vision with business goals and market needs.
- Develop product strategies that drive value for both users and the business
- Prioritize features based on impact feasibility and compliance to create a roadmap
- Identify market opportunities and de-risking product ideas through experimentation voice of customer and market/competitive research
2. Technical Proficiency & Integration Awareness
- Understanding of software development processes and agile methodologies
- Knowledge of healthcare SaaS platforms (e.g. EHRs telemedicine tools)
- Ensures interoperability with legacy systems and existing healthcare infrastructure
3. User-Centric Design & Customer Insight
- Conducts user research and usability testing to gather feedback update requirements and provide commercial guidance on value proposition
- Helps designs intuitive accessible and compliant user experiences
- Champion intuitive accessible and compliant user experiences tailored to anesthesia workflows
4. Healthcare Industry Knowledge & Regulatory Acumen
- Familiarity with clinical workflows and terminology
- Ability to navigate clinical frameworks and translate to product requirements
- Awareness of patient safety and data privacy concerns (PHI)
- Maintains general understanding of HIPAA and other compliance standards
5. Cross-Functional Leadership & Communication
- Serves as the bridge between engineering design clinical experts and business teams.
- Leads cross-functional teams through the product lifecycle including refinement and launch
- Communicates clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Align diverse teams around shared goals and manage expectations effectively
Required Qualifications:
Education & Experience
- Bachelors degreein: Computer Science Business Administration Health Informatics Engineering Life Sciences or related field
- 35 yearsin product management ideally within SaaS and/or healthcare technology.
- Proven track record of launching and iteratively improving digital products.
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams (engineering design clinical compliance).
- Experience working in agile environments and managing product backlogs including systems like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
- Hands-on experience with product analytics tools (e.g. Google Analtyics Gainsight etc).
- Ability to interpret healthcare data and use it to inform product strategy.
- Experience working with legal or compliance teams during product development.
Other Preferred Knowledge Skills Abilities or Certifications:
- Familiarity with EHR systems clinical workflows or health data standards (e.g. HL7 FHIR).
- Exposure to HIPAA GDPR or other healthcare-related compliance frameworks.
- Masters degreeor certifications in:
- Product Management (e.g. Pragmatic Institute General Assembly)
- Healthcare Administration or Public Health
- MBA with a focus on technology or healthcare
- Certifications likeCertified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)orPMI-ACP
