Job Summary
Exciting and highly rewarding opportunity for a Senior Civil Project Manager (Airport) looking to join the team in Minneapolis! This is a hybrid position with working three days in the office and two days remote.
Responsibilities:
- Lead design/planning for a variety of complex site development and airfield design projects
- Lead project teams and manage project scopes schedules financials and technical requirements
- Mentor/train junior staff with an emphasis on technical design standards and quality control
- Serve as a technical expert in collaborative engineering environment
- Travel to project sites
- Provide engineering services to airports across the country including small general aviation airports large international commercial airports and military bases
- Attend industry related conferences trainings and other events to strengthen expertise and foster relationships with potential project partners and clients
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in civil engineering
- 8 years of design experience with aviation transportation site development or municipal projects
- Experience in design of roadways utilities site grading drainage and storm water management
- 2 years of project management experience
- PE License
- Resides within or open to relocate to the greater Minneapolis - Saint Paul Minnesota area
- Prior business development experience
- Proficient in preparing plan sets specifications and construction cost estimates
- Ability to travel as needed (up to 20%)
- Occasional overnight travel may be required
- Aviation project experience preferred
- Experience with Civil 3D and/or AutoCAD preferred
- Experience with ArcGIS preferred
- Previous design experience with airfield/airport infrastructure projects preferred
- Familiar with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations/procedures preferred
Salary is commensurate with experience.
