WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (Job Overview):

When you join our teamyou will provide support to the collections operation byacquiringdistributingandmaintainingsupplies and equipment used in the day-to-day blood collections operation.Youllalsobe responsible forthe delivery and return of materials to internal and external customers.

Manage blood collection equipment and supplies including boxeslabelsand canteen supplies.Prepare blood collection kitsin accordance withestablished directives.
Take inventory and order supplies fromthe warehousemaintainingcollections supply and equipment area. Fill order requisitions from mobile and fixed sites
Interact in a positive proactive and customer-focused manner with both internal and external customers
May drive blood collection vehicles to load and unload required supplies and equipment where applicable and as needed

Standard Schedule:

4 hours shifts / 5 days a week
Variable schedule
To best meet the needs of our donors andcommunitystaffworkavariable schedulewhich may includeearly mornings late nights weekendsand holidays.
Schedule is providedtwo to threeweeks in advance

Pay Information:

Starting rate $16.00/hour.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED(Minimum Qualifications):

High school diploma or equivalentis
Customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills are
A current valid drivers license witha gooddrivingrecord is required.
Ability to carry moderate weight is
Operational flexibility isto meet sudden and unpredictable needs. Must be able to lift or move up to 75 pounds of weight; reach bend kneel climbpushand pull; work in tight spaces.
Abilityto use a variety of hand and power tools and work with a variety of chemicals andsolvents.
Basic computer skills are. Must be proficient with Microsoft office applications.
