Required Qualifications Masters degree in exercise science health promotion recreation management or related field; or a Bachelors degree in exercise science health promotion recreation management or related field and experiance to equate to a masters degree; experience in group fitness classes or personal training and general wellness knowledge; demonstrated knowledge in risk management student engagement and event planning; strong computer skills social media experience and writing/speaking skills. |
Preferred Qualifications: NCCA certification in fitness (I.e. ACE NSCA ACSM NASM etc.); Professional experience in a campus recreation setting; training or teaching experience; experience with marketing and graphic design; a Diverse fitness background such as Olympic Lifting athletic training training special populations health coaching nutrition or health education will also benefit this position. Instructor Training Certification in CPR/FA/AED/BBP |
