Job Summary

Alexander & Company a division of HUB International Gulf South is looking for an analytic and innovative Account Manager. The Account Manager should be interested in a growth role in the insurance industry by supporting the Account Advisors assisting with benefits administration technology the renewal processes open enrollment support employee communications claims support service billing and additional administrative functions that are designed to improve and enhance workflows timeliness and client responsiveness.

Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Build and maintain client websites
  • Manage evidence of insurability process
  • Work within benefits administration technology to monitor carrier file feeds payroll file feeds change reports and discrepancy reports
  • Process new hires termination and COBRA elections
  • Train clients on benefit technology
  • Audit payroll files and census files
  • Perform benefit technology testing
  • Update Benefit Point and maintain accurate plan information

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma with 3 - 5 years successful employee benefits related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have organizational and problem-solving skills; excellent Excel and data analysis skills have excellent client relationship; possess strong customer service orientation skills and be results driven. Must possess a high level of integrity and dependability.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Experience with MS Office with advanced skills with MS Excel or equivalent programs and a working knowledge of employee benefits administration software applications.
