About the Role:
The Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of international translation licensing partners driving revenue growth through relationship building strategic account planning and consultative sales approaches. This role requires a deep understanding of customer needs data-driven decision making and the ability to identify cross-selling opportunities across our book content. Please note this is a Fixed Term contract.
How you will make an impact:
- Manage a portfolio of 10-15 language markets with responsibility for revenue targets and licensing activity in each language
- Develop and execute strategic account plans setting goals and revisiting strategies throughout the year
- Analyze market performance data and trends to understand account health and proactively address issues
- Create new license agreements based on our books publishing content from end to end
- Research customer organizations to understand their strategies and tailor content solutions to their specific needs
- Build and expand relationships with key stakeholders at client organizations
- Execute license negotiations that deliver successful agreement outcomes
- Maintain accurate records in licensing systems and provide regular forecasting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including customer success sales operations and editorial
- Represent the company at book fairs and territory visits
What we look for:
- 4-year undergraduate degree
- Demonstrated success managing strategic accounts and achieving revenue goals
- Experience in complex selling situations
- Ability to identify and manage cross-selling opportunities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a portfolio of accounts
- Proven success in exceeding financial sales goals using a consultative sales approach
- Ability to speak a second language is highly desirable

It is anticipated that most qualified candidates will fall within the range however the ultimate salary offered for this role may be higher or lower and will be set based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to geographic location skills and competencies.
