Job Title: Production Supervisor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations ensure optimal productivity and maintain high-quality standards. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills a deep understanding of production processes and the ability to manage a team effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers to meet production targets.
Ensure manufacturing processes run smoothly efficiently and in compliance with safety and quality standards.
Monitor daily production metrics and adjust schedules or workloads as needed.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce waste.
Conduct regular inspections to identify and address equipment malfunctions or process bottlenecks.
Maintain accurate records of production volumes materials and workforce attendance.
Train and guide team members in work processes safety protocols and quality standards.
Liaise with the quality assurance and maintenance teams to ensure seamless production flow.
Enforce compliance with company policies industry regulations and ISO/IATF standards.
Participate in audits and contribute to corrective/preventive action planning.
Essential Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelors degree in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing 5S Kaizen and other process improvement methodologies.
Key Skills Required:
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in MS Office and production management software (ERP/MRP systems).
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Sound knowledge of health safety and environmental (HSE) regulations.
