Job Summary
A Merchandiser whos oversees the planning development and execution of merchandising strategies to maximize sales profitability and market share. The role involves working closely with design production marketing and sales teams to ensure that the right products are delivered at the right time in the right quantity and at the right price.
Tasks
- Develop and implement effective merchandising plans based on market trends and consumer demand.
- Plan product ranges and stock levels in alignment with company goals and seasonal cycles.
- Liaise with vendors suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely delivery of merchandise.
- Negotiate pricing quantities and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Oversee product development sampling and approval processes.
- Coordinate with production quality control and logistics teams to manage the supply chain.
- Monitor sales performance analyze data and adjust strategies to meet targets.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends competitors and customer preferences.
- Work closely with marketing and retail teams for product promotions and launches.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management on sales performance forecasts and inventory.
Requirements
- Minimun of 3 years in relevant merchandising experience with a degree or part qualification.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in English language.
- proficient in MS office applications.
- Strong analytical communication and interpersonal skills.
- Age between 25-40 years.
