Employees at this level solve problems with general supervision. Candidates should have foundational knowledge of cloud engineering ability to handle routine tasks with Level 1 support and the capability to grow into more independent work.

Responsibilities include:

Platform automation and assisting product teams with issue resolution
Routine maintenance monitoring backups onboarding
Reviewing health check alerts and escalating as needed
Supporting updates and patching
Developing software platforms/frameworks and defining upgrade/change cadence
Monitoring system health and continuous improvement
Scaling systems sustainably with continuous deployment and automation
Implementing design principles to improve reliability and delivery velocity
Working in Agile XP and test-driven environments
Troubleshooting platform issues and responding to enhancement requests
Collaborating with engineers developers designers and product owners

Education & Experience

Associate Degree OR 1 year of cloud engineering/server admin experience
Preferred qualifications:
- Linux Windows Active Directory
- IaC (Terraform Enterprise) AWS Azure
- BASH Go Python PowerShell
- Containers microservices
- IAM roles Vault Apigee Hybrid
- Terraform or AWS certifications
