Job Summary

Role: BlackLine Admin and Support Analyst
Experience: 2 5 years of relevant BlackLine experience (overall 6 8 years max)
Location: Austin TX (Hybrid 3 days onsite)

Description:

  • Perform metadata maintenance and ongoing system administration tasks.

  • Prepare detailed analyses and support internal control testing.

  • Develop and maintain documentation and training materials.

  • Diagnose and resolve production support issues within the system.

  • Create and manage dashboards and reporting related to close metrics.

  • Support global implementation and phased rollout of BlackLine platform solutions.

  • Optimize global close processes by identifying and supporting the implementation of new BlackLine use cases and functionalities (e.g. in-transit definitions grouped reconciliations automated journals legal entities checklists) to maximize ROI.

  • Review governance around global BlackLine usage including standardization of processes reporting policies and utilization.

Minimum Qualifications:
Proven technical and functional expertise in BlackLine solutions (e.g. Account Reconciliations Transaction Matching Journal Creation Task Management Variance Analysis Intercompany Hub Financial Reporting Analytics Studio 360).
Experience supporting global BlackLine implementations and/or performing system administration for a large multinational organization.
Expert-level proficiency in Excel.
1 2 years of experience with SAP and R2R processes.
Knowledge of system integrations between ERPs BlackLine and downstream tools.

Preferred Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R) processes including close activities balance sheet reconciliations and journal voucher postings.
Experience with control testing and data analysis.
SAP S/4HANA integration experience is a plus.
Experience with business process reengineering and project management.
Strong proficiency in developing and maintaining process and training documentation.
Excellent written verbal interpersonal presentation and spreadsheet skills.
Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Demonstrated success in business process reengineering leading to operational improvements and elimination of non-value-added work.
Passion for driving global operational improvements and system automation while maintaining a strong internal control environment.
Ability to manage multiple key initiatives simultaneously.
Effective team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Mature responsible and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
