We are seeking a Microsoft Azure AD Identity Engineer (IAM) to join our team. This role will involve leading IAM migration activities guiding clients through authentication modernization and supporting technical integrations. The ideal candidate will have experience in ForgeRock OpenAM Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) identity federation SSO authentication protocols and IAM migration with a passion for Identity & Access Management engineering and modernization.

Job Description

The Microsoft Azure AD Identity Engineer (IAM) will lead application migration efforts from ForgeRock OpenAM to Microsoft Entra ID. As a Microsoft Azure AD Identity Engineer (IAM) you will conduct design sessions workshops and technical discussions to define future-state identity architectures. The Microsoft Azure AD Identity Engineer (IAM) will manage SSO reconfigurations federation setups and integration activities across client this role the Microsoft Azure AD Identity Engineer (IAM) will collaborate closely with client teams troubleshoot complex IAM challenges and ensure high-quality secure delivery. Additionally the Microsoft Azure AD Identity Engineer (IAM) will provide best practices guidance around identity federation authentication standards and Microsoft IAM solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead technical design sessions workshops and architecture discussions focused on migrating applications from ForgeRock OpenAM to Microsoft Entra ID.
Oversee identity migration tasks including SSO reconfiguration federation setup API integration and authentication updates.
Work directly with client security infrastructure and application teams to document existing IAM environments and define future-state requirements.
Provide expert guidance on Microsoft Entra ID identity federation SAML OAuth OpenID Connect and modern authentication patterns.
Troubleshoot complex IAM integration challenges authentication failures and federation issues.
Prepare detailed technical documentation migration plans diagrams and progress reports following Trilyon quality standards.
Lead client-facing discussions status meetings and technical walkthroughs as a subject matter expert.
Support automation and scripting activities using PowerShell or Python (preferred).
Optional: Utilize Azure DevOps for tracking migration tasks and project activities.
