Job Summary
- Position: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Med Surg
- Location: Newport TN
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour Day/Night shifts
- Schedule: 36 hours per week (3 days/week)
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive compassionate care to adult patients with various medical and post-surgical conditions
- Utilize strong clinical skills and critical thinking to deliver safe high-quality care
- Work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment
- Collaborate and communicate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Med Surg specialty
- Active AHA BLS ACLS and PALS certifications
- Valid TN state RN license or compact license
- Must not be a local candidate (50-mile radius rule applies)
Compensation:
- Hourly Rate: $52.00 ($17.39 taxable $34.61 non-taxable stipend)
- Overtime Rate: $60.00
- Weekly Gross Pay: $1872.00 ($626.04 taxable $1246.00 stipend)
