Our client is a long-established engineering manufacturer specialising in high-precision pump components and engineered assemblies for demanding industrial applications. They operate in a fast-paced quality-driven environment with strong in-house machining assembly and technical capability. The team values reliability continuous improvement and hands-on leadership across operations.
In this role you will oversee procurement vendor management production planning stores assembly inbound/outbound logistics and overall supply chain performance. Youll drive forecasting raw material availability stock accuracy improvement of operational processes and on-time delivery to customers. The position requires close collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure efficient flow of materials and finished goods.

Job experience and Skills Required:
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Business Management or related field (NQF 7).
- Minimum 5 years supply chain procurement or operations leadership within manufacturing/engineering ideally pumps machining or component production.
- Strong vendor management negotiation stock control and production planning expertise.
- Ability to manage logistics analyse data streamline processes and lead stores/assembly functions.
- Excellent communication computer literacy (MS Office) problem-solving and the ability to work independently under pressure.
