Central Carolina Medical Group has 13 physician practices comprising of primary care cardiology general surgery urology orthopedics and sports medicine and pulmonology. We employ more than 30 providers and we are growing to better serve the needs of the residents of Lee County and beyond. How youll Contribute

A Respiratory Therapist who excels in this role:

• Measures lung capacity and analyzes blood samples using a blood gas analyzer; may perform bedside PFTs EKGs and tobacco-cessation education as ordered.
• Delivers ordered respiratory therapies; monitors records and communicates patient condition and response to treatment.
• Responds to codes and emergent calls; assesses patient condition and provides appropriate interventions.
• Evaluates and contributes to respiratory care policies and procedures based on outcomes research and best practices.
• Educates patients and families on illness treatments device use and community resources.
• Monitors receives stocks and distributes respiratory supplies and medical gas cylinders; maintains storage areas and equipment readiness.
• Disassembles cleans sterilizes performs preventive maintenance and calibrates respiratory equipment.
• Performs all responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels.
• Participates in performance improvement and required education.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
