Perform cleaning services to all areas of Iona University
Duties and Responsibilities
- Includes cleaning vacuuming sweeping mopping dusting climbing a ladder to clean windows and lifting up to 50 pounds of any assigned areas such as bathrooms offices classrooms auditoriums gymnasiums dormitories etc.
- Collection and disposal of any garbage and recyclables from all trash containers and bringing it to designated areas
- Sweep mop strip and buff hard wood floors where necessary
- Report to supervisor any faulty building functions such as lights doors locks bathroom fixtures
- Assist snow removal department when needed
- May require overtime
- Any other duties as requested
Qualifications
Required Experience
- Possess some knowledge of cleaning procedures and cleaning agents
- Valid Drivers License
- High School Diploma preferred
