Privacy Engineer, Level 4

Were looking for a Privacy Engineer to join Snap Inc!

What youll do:

• Work across teams to understand privacy needs and address privacy concerns

• Advocate for best practices and guide the development of industry leading privacy products and features

• Build and enhance data governance tools and services such as data understanding pipelines data retention and deletion management system etc

• Develop Privacy-enhancing Technology (PETs) that preserve and improve privacy

Knowledge Skills & Abilities:

• Strong Computer Science and Privacy engineering fundamentals

• Able to prioritize duties and work well on your own

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a high attention to detail

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in technical field such as computer science mathematics statistics or equivalent years of experience

• 3 years of relevant work experience in building privacy-preserving data governance data compliance systems

• Experience with C/C Or Java Or Python

Compensation

In the United States work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidates starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills experience qualifications work location and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.
