EVENTS AND OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE J-PAL North America works closely with the policy research and training teams to plan and execute a wide-variety of inclusive in-person hybrid and virtual events meetings and training programs aimed at promoting the production and use of rigorous evidence; plans and executes internal staff meetings and events; and provides input into the development of event strategy and outreach and support for marketing activities associated with events. Primary tasks involve event planning and logistics event analysis reporting and systems maintenance as well as the coordination and tracking of fundraising activities and some general office management responsibilities.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED: A Bachelors degree or equivalent and a minimum of two years of event planning or program/project management experience; strong project management and organizational skills; exacting attention to detail; clear and persuasive verbal and written communication skills; ability to delegate and collaborate effectively with staff and stakeholders at all levels; ability to respond to problems issues and opportunities independently and collaborate as needed to identify a solution or response; and proficient in Zoom Salesforce Asana Google Drive and/or able to quickly learn new technologies.
