Job Summary
Central CUSD #4 is seeking a dedicated and compassionateSpecial Education Teacherto serve students in 9th-12thGrade. Thisresource positionmay also includeco-teaching within general education classroomsto support inclusive practices and meet the diverse needs of our learners.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individualized and small group instruction aligned to students IEP goals.
Collaborate with general education teachers to plan and deliver co-taught lessons.
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records.
Communicate effectively with families support staff and related service providers.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications:
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement required.
Experience working with elementary students in a special education setting preferred.
Strong communication collaboration and organizational skills.
