Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) Responsibilities:
Deliver effective and compassionate occupational therapy treatments under OT supervision.
Implement individualized therapy plans focused on improving mobility strength and ADL performance.
Support residents in regaining independence and achieving personal goals.
Assist in progress tracking and documentation using established systems.
Educate residents and families on safe techniques to enhance independence and daily function.
Collaborate with the therapy team and nursing staff to ensure holistic patient-centered care.
Participate in care conferences and contribute to team planning and problem-solving.
Maintain accurate compliant documentation and uphold professional and ethical standards.

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school with an associate degree as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
- Certification by the State of Wisconsin to practice as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
