ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise in the design development and testing of innovative solutions
- Mentor and guide a team of R&D engineers fostering a culture of technical excellence
- Drive innovation by identifying new technologies and methodologies
- Conduct research to generate intellectual property (IP) and contribute to patent applications
- Evaluate emerging technologies for applicability to projects
- Conduct technology assessments to inform decisionmaking
- Support technology transfer from R&D to manufacturing
- Identify and assess technical and projectrelated risks
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies
QualificationsYOU MUST HAVE
- 5 years of experience performing research and development projects within a technology or manufacturing environment
- Strong background in areas such as materials science electronics sensors controls or related fields
- Proven track record of technical leadership and project management

- Bachelors degree or Advanced degree in Chemistry Engineering Physics or another related field
- Solid understanding of software development best practices design patterns and architecture principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to drive technology commercialization is a plus
