We are looking for a Building Surveyor (Voids Surveyor) to join our Housing Repairs and Maintenance Team.
About the role
Reporting to the Voids Contract Manager you will deliver a full range of professional surveying services within the Voids Service Area.
Babergh and Mid-Suffolk District Councils are going through an exciting period of change with a new operating model being developed for the Repairs Maintenance and Voids team within our Housing Directorate.

In this role you will:
About you
We are looking for a professionally qualified Surveyor with significant experience to join our dedicated team.
Ideally you will have worked within a responsive repairs service or voids team as you will be responsible for producing clear detailed specifications of multi-trade works using schedule of rates and managing the programme of work to completion.
You will be confident using IT systems for job management to ensure works are delivered by our Voids Contractor within service level agreements/KPIs and the allocated budget.
You will need to possess strong written and verbal communication skills and be comfortable as the point of contact for stakeholders contractors and customers.

A full valid UK driving licence is essential in order to perform the duties of this role.
