The Business Development Officer is tasked with cultivating new WPS individual client relationships and supporting the firms growth initiatives targeting HNW/UHNW clients. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in engaging and converting prospective individual corporate executive clients while having a strong understanding of executive compensation equity awards benefits and comprehensive financial planning including tax estate and risk management within the wealth management industry.
Primary Responsibilities
Drive engagement and conversion of corporate executive prospective clients sourced internally and externally through defined inbound and outbound activities.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new clients.
Manage the prospect pipeline effectively using activity-based metrics and qualitative engagement.
Track and report key business development metrics such as pipeline progress conversion rates and revenue growth.
Required Qualifications:
A bachelors degree in Business Finance or a related field; an MBA or CFP designation is advantageous.
Over five years of experience in business development sales and relationship management within financial services or wealth management.
Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding growth targets.
Strong knowledge of investment products financial planning and the regulatory environment.
Experience with workplace solutions and the client conversion process.
Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivation and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 63 & 65) licenses are required .
Compensation Range:
$100000 - $160000
