Job Summary:
The Senior Java Spring Boot Developer is responsible for designing developing and maintaining scalable high-performance applications using Java and Spring Boot framework. The role includes leading development initiatives ensuring code quality mentoring junior developers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design develop test and deploy backend applications using Java Spring Boot Spring MVC Spring Data.
- Write clean maintainable and efficient code following best practices coding standards and design patterns.
- Lead development projects and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level developers.
- Collaborate with product owners QA engineers and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Optimize applications for performance scalability and security.
- Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with software quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in development testing and production environments.
- Maintain technical documentation for software architecture design and procedures.
- Stay updated on Java Spring Boot and related technologies to recommend improvements and modern practices
Requirements
Desired Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Java Springboot development.
- Strong expertise in Java Spring Boot Spring MVC Spring Data JPA Hibernate.
Experience with RESTful APIs Microservices architecture and cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP). - Proficient in database design and SQL (MySQL PostgreSQL Oracle).
- Knowledge of unit testing automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Docker Kubernetes or containerized deployments.
- Knowledge of message brokers (RabbitMQ Kafka) and caching mechanisms (Redis).
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and cloud-native development practices.
- Certifications in Java or Spring Framework are a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving analytical and communication skills.
