Description
Title:Adjunct instructors for in-person Mathematics (Spring/Fall 2026)
Bargaining Unit/Salary Level:Salary and Benefits commensurate with the Agreement between the MCCS Trustees and the MSEA Adjunct Faculty Unit.
Summary:Central Maine Community College seeks adjunct faculty to teach technical mathematics quantitative reasoning and algebra-based courses. The instructor will deliver and use a learning management system. The courses are a combination of day and evening classes and are on-ground at our Auburn campus.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A Masters degree in mathematics or a related field (e.g. statistics physics) or a Masters degree with an additional 18 graduate-level credit hours in mathematics.
- Experience teaching college-level mathematics or relevant field experience.
- Familiarity with Brightspace or other Learning Management Systems.
- A strong enthusiasm and passion for student learning with the ability to respond to students needs using a variety of teaching methods
