Short Description
The Lead CCT will work in collaboration with the unit leadership to promote a positive work environment by facilitating teamwork coordinated patient care unit initiatives and projects for non-licensed personal.
Will schedule and perform duties of a CCT.
Overview
Kelemen North and South 9 is a two-sided seventy-six bed Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit. Our staff care for a variety of patient populations including cardiac trauma gastrointestinal and psych.
To support our staff are Clinical Nurse Managers (CNMs) which help with patient care through put and assignments. Nurses who are staffed on Kelemen 9 are required to have Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications which will allow competent and safe care for our complex patient populations.
Experience Required
1-2 years experience required.
Education Requirements
High School/GED required.
License/Certification Requirements
- AHA Basic Life Support certification required.
- Successful completion of an unlicensed health care provider/ technician program required.
- Completed at least one fundamental nursing course in an accreditedNursingProgramrequired.
- 1 year or more patient care experience in a similar rolerequired.
Special Requirements
Must meet all requirements of a Critical Care Tech
Exemplifies informal leadership qualities and initiatives
Promotes positive working environment by facilitating teamwork.
