Shift Options:

• Full-Time Days (7:00 AM 7:00 PM)

• Full-Time Nights (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)

• Rotating weekends required

Compensation & Incentives

• Hourly Rate: $27.72 $39.60 (based on experience)

• Shift Differentials:

  • Nights: $3.00/hr

  • Weekends: $2.00/hr

• Sign-On Bonus:

  • Days: $10000

  • Nights: $15000

• Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis

Position Overview

A leading acute care hospital in Tallahassee FL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Med-Tele / Neurology to join a collaborative and patient-focused care team. This is a 288-bed acute care facility recognized as both a Stroke Center and Chest Pain Center offering a fast-paced environment that blends neurological care with continuous cardiac monitoring.

This role is ideal for nurses who value clinical autonomy teamwork and delivering high-quality care to patients with complex neurological and telemetry needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor patients requiring continuous telemetry and neurological assessments

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and identify changes in clinical status

• Develop and implement individualized plans of care

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes

• Educate patients and families on medications neurological recovery and treatment plans

• Ensure patient safety and appropriate use of medical equipment and resources

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care RN experience required

• Licensure: Active Florida RN license or active multistate/compact license

• Certifications:

  • BLS required

  • ACLS preferred (required within 6 months of hire)

• Education:

  • Associate Degree in Nursing required

  • BSN preferred
