Job Title: Cybersecurity Technician
Location: Lisbon Portugal
Work Regime: Full-time & Hybrid (23x office days per week)
Overview / Summary:
We are seeking a Cybersecurity Technician to monitor detect and respond to security threats. This role focuses on managing security tools analyzing events and supporting the SOC to ensure a secure IT environment.
The ideal profissional has hands-on experience with SIEM EDR IAM and vulnerability management with a strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Monitor security events using SIEM tools (Splunk QRadar) and respond to incidents.
- Manage and configure endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions.
- Support identity and access management (IAM) processes.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and assist in mitigation efforts.
- Collaborate with the SOC and IT teams to maintain a secure environment.
- Prepare reports and documentation on security incidents and activities.
Requirements
Mandatory Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in Cybersecurity roles.
- Experience with SIEM tools such as Splunk or QRadar.
- Experience with EDR IAM and vulnerability management.
- Knowledge of SOC operations and cybersecurity best practices.
- English: B2
