RecruitNet International Ltd is hiring an HCA for a Nursing home in Co Limerick Ireland.
Responsibilities
Support the nursing team in delivering high-quality person-centred care to meet the needs of all residents.
Build positive relationships with residents by understanding their interests and providing attention support and companionship.
Promote and assist with residents mobility ensuring they move safely and to the best of their ability.
Assist residents with personal care and hygiene needs while always maintaining their dignity and respect.
Communicate any changes or concerns regarding residents condition or daily life to the nursing staff.
Support residents with eating drinking and maintaining physical comfort.
Participate in organise and help deliver social and recreational activities.
Maintain strong communication with residents families and foster good relationships.
Assist in keeping the home clean tidy and safe at all times.
Contribute to maintaining Health and Safety standards throughout the home.
Perform any other duties as required by the Nurse in Charge or management.
Requirements
Currently completing or holding a FETAC/QQI Level 5 Healthcare qualification (or equivalent) in the relevant modules.
Demonstrates strong communication and active listening skills.
Professional dependable and committed to high standards.
Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Maintains a positive and proactive attitude.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
