Job Title:Sr. Financial Analyst
Location:San Jose
Reports to:Finance Director
About the Role
We are seeking a highly analytical and business-minded Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team in San Jose. This role will play a key part in supporting the companys financial forecasting analysis and planning activities partnering closely with business leaders across functions.
The ideal candidate possesses a strong foundation in finance and data analysis excels at transforming numbers into actionable insights and communicates findings clearly and persuasively to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop insightful scenario analysis and business commentaries to support executive decision-making.
- Analyze key financial drivers such as bookings ACV revenue trends and sales quota.
- Design and maintain Excel-based models for scenario and sensitivity analysis and contribute to process and reporting automation initiatives.
- Work closely with a technical finance engineer on data integrity modeling and dashboard enhancement.
- Present findings and recommendations in a clear concise and business-oriented manner.
Job Requirements
- Knowledge of software hardware and service revenue recognition rules.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (Pivot Power Query VBA).
- Familiarity with Tableau SQL R or Python is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven ability to work independently and thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
Education/Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics Data Science or related field;
- 2 years of work experience in financial planning & analysis corporate finance or business analytics.
- MBA/CPA/ACCA/CFA is a plus.
The annual salary range for California is $88200 to $163800. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus equity and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications skill level competencies and work location.
