Research Assistant/Senior Research Assistant (Sleep and Mental Health Research) ()

Project Introduction:

The School of Chinese Medicine at HKBU is dedicated to advance sleep and mental health research. Ourresearch focuses on developing and evaluating the efficacy of various novel interventions for the treatment of sleep and mental disorders drawing on traditional Chinese medicine (e.g. Chinese herbal medicine & acupuncture) exercise science (e.g. Tai Chi) and psychotherapy (CBT-I).Our work has led to multiple publications in top-tier journals including the BMJ the Lancet Child & Adolescent Health British Journal of Sports Medicine and more.

More information about our work: participant enrollment and follow-up in clinical trials;

Answer participant inquiries related to the study and provide clear explanations of research procedures;

Perform data collection entry and management;

Conduct literature reviews and contributing to research protocol development.

Assist in manuscript preparation and grant applications;

Ensure compliance with ethical and regulatory guidelines for human subject research; and

Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Abachelors or postgraduate degreein Chinese medicine psychology public health nursing or a related field;
Experience inclinical research is essential;
Strongorganisational and time-managementskills with the ability to multitasking;
Excellentcommunication skills both written and verbal;
Strong attention to details and accuracy in data management;
Ability to workindependently and collaborativelywithin a research team; and
Proficiency inMicrosoft Office and research-related software.

The initial appointment will be on aone-year fixed-term contract with the possibility of renewal subject to mutual agreement.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
