The Planning Offsets and Threatened Species and Ecosystems (POTSE) delivers a range of programs relating to biodiversity stewardship threatened species conservation and the NSW biodiversity credits market and also leads reforms to the Biodiversity Offsets Scheme.
We are seeking to appoint a Project Officer to provide high-level executive and business support to senior leaders within the POTSE division ensuring smooth and efficient operations across the Divisional Strategy and Coordination (DSC) unit. The role also involves delivering projects to enhance business systems improve compliance with corporate processes and support strategic objectives. A key focus of the role is collaboration with internal teams and building strong relationships with stakeholders across DCCEEW and other government agencies.
About You
Were seeking a highly organised and proactive Project Officer Executive & Business Support to provide critical support to the Executive Director and the broader POTSE division. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment can manage competing priorities and is confident working across a wide range of business functions.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality executive support managing complex diaries coordinating divisional governance forums and preparing key communications and documentation. Your ability to navigate government protocols and systems will be essential in supporting strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.
In addition to executive support youll contribute to business improvement initiatives collaborate with administrative teams across the division and assist with workforce procurement and asset management processes. Your strong stakeholder engagement skills and attention to detail will help ensure the smooth flow of information and the successful delivery of divisional priorities.

Key knowledge and experience
Sound experience providing business coordination and administration support to Executives with proven capacity to support delivery complex projects in a high-pressure environment.
Able to apply government protocols and administration policies processes and procedures.
