The Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate Senior Radiographer to join our Cardiovascular Cath Lab Procedure team at Westmead Private Hospital. We operate 2 labs Monday to Friday with an on-call component after hours and on weekends. To be successful in this role you will work effectively within a team and independently as required.

The Cath Lab completes procedures in Coronary Angiography Structural Heart Procedures including ASD PFO LAA Closures Electrophysiology Studies Pacemakers Interventional Neuro Radiology and Vascular Procedures.

Skills and Experience

The successful applicant will have excellent communication and customer liaison skills. You will be flexible self-motivated and will have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team and can manage multiple relationships with various stakeholders.

To be successful you will demonstrate:

• Current Radiation Use licence
• Current AHPRA registration
• Relevant qualifications in Radiography/Medical Imaging/Radiation Safety
• Previous experience in Cardiac Catheter Lab
• Commitment to on-going professional development
• Proficiency in the use of computers including Microsoft Office programs
• Excellent work ethic time management skills and the ability to successfully work within a fast-paced environment
• Radiation Safety Management
