Key Responsibilities(What You Are Doing)
  • Conceive package and write or edit stories for all sections of Food Network Magazine and HGTV Magazine
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Food Network talent and their representatives
  • Plan and manage long-term editorial features on Food Network talent
  • Identify recruit and manage a network of freelance contributors
  • Stay current on trends in food home crafts and lifestyle to pitch fresh creative content ideas
  • Collaborate with designers to concept and plan dynamic layouts
  • Craft engaging display copy and compelling headlines
  • Support the creation and packaging of special editorial projects (e.g. brand books SIPs)
  • Represent both brands in meetings with advertisers and partners
Qualifications (What Were Looking For)
  • Demonstrated ability to generate and shape creative engaging editorial content
  • Deep knowledge of home food and lifestyle trends
  • Exceptional packaging writing and editing skills
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • At least seven years of experience at a consumer food or lifestyle magazine
  • A collaborative spirit and enthusiasm for working cross-functionally with partners and stakeholders
  • Hybrid work schedule: four days per week in our New York City office

The base salary for this role is between $83000 - $102000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors such as: transferable skills work experience business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
