Job Duties

To provide high quality acute psychiatric evaluation crisis stabilization and intensive short-term treatment that empowers children and their families to make developmentally appropriate choices and that strengthens childrens hope resilience and self-esteem.

Minimum Qualifications

- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must complete Agency approved training program by following this link:
- Ability to acquire and maintain the Registered Behavioral Technician Certification within 60 days of employment through the Behavioral Analysis Certification Board.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Experience working with individuals with all levels of intellectual disability and with individuals who have significant impairment related to symptoms of autism spectrum disorder and/or developmental abilities.
- Ability to mentor coach and support multidisciplinary team to implement behavioral strategies.

DBHDS facilities are no longer required to ensure that all staff members are vaccinated against COVID-19.
