Were looking for a skilled passionate and hands-onMarine Boat Technicianto join our high-energy team! At Anderson Powersports we live for adventureon the trails on the road and especiallyon the water. If youre someone who enjoys working with your hands solving mechanical puzzles and getting boats in top shape for the season youll fit right in.
What Youll Be Doing:
Perform diagnostics repairs and maintenance on a wide variety of marine vessels and engines (outboards inboards sterndrives)
Troubleshoot mechanical electrical and fuel systems with precision and confidence
Install accessories and upgradesfish finders radios GPS systems and more
Conduct water tests and ensure every boat leaves the shop running like a dream
Keep detailed service records and communicate clearly with service advisors & customers
Help maintain a clean organized and safety-focused workspace
Stay up to date on the latest marine technologies tools and certifications
Complete Mercury and Yamahawarranty repairsand ensure proper documentation is submitted
Assist with theregistration and verificationprocess for warranty eligibility
Use OEM diagnostic software (Yamaha YDS Mercury G3 CDS/MDST)
Follow service bulletins recall procedures and factory repair protocols
What Were Looking For:
Experience with marine engines (Mercury Yamaha Honda Suzuki etc.) is a big plus
Mechanical or technical background (powersports auto marine small engine repair)
Strong diagnostic skills and a commitment to getting it right the first time
Positive attitude and team-player mentality
Willingness to learn adapt and grow with us
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in an active shop environment
Certifications are greatbut we value hands-on experience and passion just as much
