Hours of work: 21 hours 30 minutes per week 1.00 pm- 3.30 pm Monday to Friday

Working pattern: Part-time term-time only (working for 39weeks per year plus 6.05weeks annual leave which will increase after 5 years continuous service)

(As the position is part-time & term-time only the above salary will be pro rata)

Fixed term until: The end of the academic year or until funding ceases.

We are looking to recruit a part-time Individual Needs Assistant to work in our Reception class supporting a pupil as they transition into primary school. The role involves supporting an individual child with their learning and developmental needs in class.

The role is currently afternoons only (1 pm - 3.30 pm) but ideally we are looking for flexibility as there may be a need to change to mornings if the needs change. The vacancy is for a January start or sooner if available.

Accordingly the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate to the school by completing a self-declaration form as part of the pre-employment checks process that they have not been disqualified under the 2018 Regulations.

If the preferred candidate is found to be disqualified under the 2018 Regulations the offer of employment will be subject to the application by the preferred candidate to Ofsted for a waiver and the receipt of a waiver from Ofsted.
