Client Engagement Coordinator
Responsibilities summary
  • The Client Engagement Coordinator position supports the consulting and client engagement teams by ensuring smooth communication and helping to identify leads and continued partnership. The Client Engagement team is MAGNETs business development and the consulting team sells and delivers projects that help manufacturers grow (engineering operations improvement strategy technology etc).
  • The ideal candidate is an organized proactive communicator who is passionate about client satisfaction and contributing to business growth. Alignment with MAGNETs values and our mission to grow the Northeast Ohio economy through manufacturing is critical.
  • This role is crucial in the early stages of the sales pipeline helping to identify and qualify new business opportunities and ensure a seamless handoff to others in the client engagement team or consulting team.
  • Attendance at events networking and relationship building are all major parts of this role
  • A secondary but significant role od this position handles essential administrative tasks and event planning responsibilities to support team operations.
Key Responsibilities
Market Engagement & Development 65% time / focus
  • Market Presence & Networking: Strategically attend events across 24 counties helping to develop potential clients and growing awareness of MAGNETs services in the region.
  • Client Outreach & Communication: Conduct initial outreach to prospects and referral sources respond to general inquiries and schedule discovery meetings for the client engagement team and consulting teams.
  • Event Coordination: Assist in the planning and execution of networking events conferences and trade shows to generate new leads.
Sales & Operational Support 35% of time / focus
  • Lead Generation & Research: Research potential clients market trends and industry opportunities to identify new leads and opportunities for growth.
  • Operational Support: Support client engagement and consultant teams with various administrative duties including calendar management and report generation.
  • Sales Support: Assist in preparing for sales meetings and creating presentations.
  • Data Management & Administration: Manage and maintain accurate records of all sales and client activities in the CRM system.
Qualifications
Requirements:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative taking to proactively meet people and build relationships.
  • Ability and desire to attend public meetings and networking.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational time management skills and attention to detail.
  • A bachelors degree in business marketing or a related field.
Preferred:
  • Proven experience in sales support or administrative role.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g. Salesforce HubSpot).
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint .
Working Environment:
  • Full-time salaried position that is overtime eligible.
  • Requires travel within the 24-county region as well as attending breakfast and evening events.
  • Travel to MAGNETs Cleveland office at minimum 2-3 times a month for meetings.
  • No defined office hours.
Pay Band:
  • $50000-$70000 a year
