AIG underwriting teams help to find insurance solutions in areas including Financial Lines Property Casualty Specialty Lines Cyber Multinational Clients and High Net Worth individuals. How you will create an impact

You will contribute to the growth and profitability of the UK M&A business unit by providing underwriting and administration support to allocated underwriters. Ensure exceptional customer service to both internal and external parties and consistently meet service levels and performance targets in terms of volume accuracy and quality.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

Assist underwriters in managing deal pipeline including managing and maintaining electronic underwriting files producing term sheets and deal documents coordinating diligence process and preparing insurance policies for issuance.

Support group marketing efforts by helping to maintain marketing databases conduct research and follow up on new business opportunities and prepare presentations and marketing materials.

Provide support to underwriters and M&A legal including policy drafting assistance form maintenance and completion of confidentiality and non-reliance agreements.

Provide general M&A organizational support to help streamline and improve business process

What youll need to succeed

  • Bachelors degree in Law
  • An Interest in mergers and acquisitions corporate law and Insurance
  • Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
  • Detailed oriented and ability to adhere to strict compliance rules.
  • Highly skilled at organizing electronic documents works well under tight deadlines.
  • Initiative and self-motivation. Superior written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with others in collaboration.
