Summary

This role will manage the data processing and reporting functions associated with participant and performance data. An Augeo SQL Developer is responsible for utilizing Augeos data assets and AI to provide analysis and reporting to end users and internal customers as well as manage the flow of data within the environment. You will be developing testing and implementing ETL packages within Microsoft SQL Server SSIS along with creating ad-hoc queries and reports using SSMS AI-native tools like Cursor and Visual Studio Code. Excitingly Augeo has a new Snowflake data warehouse that you will be helping to build out and transition to. This role blends traditional data engineering with modern AI capabilities to drive innovation and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Copilot-assisted scripting and Cursors SQL autocompletion
• Optimize Snowflake performance with AI query tuning tools like BlazeSQL and Cortex AISQL
• Use AI to generate and validate data models schemas and transformations
• Document data processing and data validation procedures for all assigned programs and keep documentation updated
• Monitor and troubleshoot ETL failures with AI-driven anomaly detection
• Automate documentation using AI summarization tools
• Validate data using AI-powered test generation and schema comparison
• Support account teams with AI-assisted data queries and visualizations
• Contribute to process improvements by piloting new AI tools and workflows

Competencies

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Microsofts T-SQL query language
• Proficiency in Snowflake (Snowpipe Streams Tasks performance tuning)
• Familiarity with Cursor GitHub Copilot and AI2SQL
• Experience with C# for scripting tasks
• Experience with code repositories including Azure Dev Ops / Git
• Familiarity with Mongo and the ability to write queries against data stored in Mongo
• Exposure to Tableau BI or Power BI reporting tools
• Knowledge of data warehousing practices data marts and operational data stores
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of SOC2 process controls and security standards

Education & Experience

• Two- or four-year degree preferred
• Experience with SSIS complex stored procedures and data imports
• Familiarity with AI-enhanced development workflows and tools
• Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server and relational database technologies

Work Environment

This role operates in a hybrid environment enhanced by AI collaboration platforms. Youll use tools like Cursor and Copilot to work smarter not harder. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers and smartphones.
