About the Role:
Supports the Finance Team by administrating vendor payments and agent sales commissions involving processing invoices reconciling accounts preparing financial reports and maintaining accurate financial records. Key duties include verifying expenses managing the accounts payable and commission payment schedules bank reconciliations and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies.

A great candidate for this role is detail-oriented highly organized and able to manage complex financial processes with accuracy and discretion. We value individuals who demonstrate strong analytical skills and can independently resolve discrepancies while maintaining clear communication with internal teams and external partners. These qualitiesintegrity problem-solving ability and meticulous attention to detailcannot be taught and are essential for success in our collaborative fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate brings at least two years of hands-on experience in commissions accounts payable and general ledger accounting with advanced Excel proficiency (including VLOOKUP PivotTables and SUMIF). A four-year accounting degree is preferred and familiarity with LifePro and Infor systems as well as prior insurance industry experience is a plus. General Responsibilities:
- Manage all commission-related processes including adjustments verification against agreements and maintaining accurate balances in LifePro.
- Research and resolve inquiries on agent commissions while ensuring compliance with compensation procedures and 1099 reporting requirements.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations general ledger reconciliations and prepare accounting journal entries accurately and on time.
- Review process and execute vendor invoices and payments; reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for audits including year-end vendor payment details for timely 1099 filings.
