Job Description:
As a Global Mobility Associate you will support our international workforce by ensuring smooth compliant and efficient global mobility processes. You will act as the key point of contact for employee relocations transfers company-sponsored immigration and cross-border work requests. Your work will directly enable employees to thrive globally while ensuring compliance with immigration tax and employment regulations.
This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with experience navigating complex global mobility challenges who enjoys providing high-touch service and collaborating with a global People Operations team.
You will:
Immigration & Visa Support
Coordinate and manage work permit applications renewals and ad hoc immigration cases with external counsel and internal stakeholders.
Serve as a point of contact for employees Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partners regarding processes timelines and requirements.
Track expiration dates and ensure timely renewals to maintain compliance.
Maintain strong knowledge of immigration processes in key regions (Spain UK US) and provide guidance on policies and procedures.
Relocation & Mobility Coordination
Oversee international new hire and employee relocations from pre-move planning to post-move support.
Advise Talent Acquisition and HR on relocation policies and expat packages.
Collaborate with the Global Mobility Manager tax providers and payroll to ensure timely tax equalization and year-end processes.
Maintain accurate Workday records to track key mobility tax payroll and immigration data.
Provide high-touch local support for foreign nationals in Spain (e.g. NIE SSN Town Hall registrations).
Identify process improvements to enhance compliance and efficiency reducing manual effort.
Create ServiceNow knowledge articles and forms to streamline employee experience.
Compliance & Risk Management
Monitor and ensure compliance with immigration laws global mobility policies and country-specific labor laws.
Maintain accurate records and documentation to support audits and reporting.
Gather country-specific requirements for Workday and identify compliance gaps.
Develop and maintain dashboards and tracking tools to monitor visas tax and global mobility processes.
Support People Operations with ad hoc international HR requests.
Cross-Border Work & Remote Requests
Review and advise on employee requests to work from other locations assessing legal and operational risks.
Support process design and decision trees for remote work requests aligning with risk and compliance policies.
Partner with Legal Tax and HRBP teams to evaluate and process short-term and long-term mobility requests.
You have:
3 years of experience in global mobility and immigration (desired).
Fluency in English; Spanish language skills preferred.
Strong understanding of immigration processes employment law and international HR practices (especially US UK and Spain).
Experience collaborating with global mobility providers and immigration counsel.
Excellent attention to detail organization and communication skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally with Legal Finance HRBPs and external vendors.
Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field (preferred).
Knowledge of global tax implications related to mobility (preferred).
Proactive mindset able to identify process gaps and drive continuous improvement.
Familiarity with ServiceNow and Workday (preferred).
