Job Description
This position has a broad knowledge of client-side support networks and communications and is responsible for deploying and maintaining the companys infrastructure. This position will support IT operations in Chile in coordination with the Global network and support team
To effectively perform these responsibilities this position must interact and collaborate with colleagues across the organizational and geographic spectrum. Furthermore as a representative of the IT organisation must always be cognitive of the effects of their actions on the IT organisation as a whole. Maintaining good working relationships with other business units is essential for achieving IT organizational objectives.
Must have a good communications skill.
Main responsibilities:
Oversee the LAN and WAN environment and associated regional to ensure that the systems in place are providing the most effective and efficient service under guidance from the Network Services in USA;
Anticipate communication and networking problems;
Ensure timely user notification of maintenance requirements and effects on system availability;
Coordinate the second support team to provide the best user experience at the site;
Working knowledge of PCs laptops servers network equipment and the software installed;
Travel required sometimes on short notice.

5 years of experience working with PCs laptops servers network equipment and the software installed upon them in a Microsoft Windows environment
Strong experience in customer service.
