Associate Global Loans Operations

Were seeking someone to join our team as an Associate responsible for supporting the primary origination and secondary trading business lines through the daily and monthly execution of mortgage and corporate loan life-cycle events. The scope of this role includes corporate middle markets and small business association (SBA) lending.

In the Operations division we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is an Associate Sr. Professional level position within Product Support & Services which is responsible for providing transaction support and managing post execution processes.

What youll do in the role:

• Execute processes/functions and/or support process management and project efforts leveraging knowledge of the systems markets and instruments that influence the team

• Recognize risk in day-to-day processes to draw out the key issues and contribute to process improvements

• Build relationships within team and internal stakeholders sharing knowledge to contribute to team output

• Participate in projects and initiatives aiding in solution formulation with a focus on timely execution

• Sending out loan notices to Lenders who are part of loan syndication

• Ensuring accurate and efficient entry of loan transactions such as drawdowns repayments prepayments interest payments servicing fees servicing advances etc.

• Reviewing legal documentation (e.g. credit agreements fee letters)

• Managing stakeholder interaction both internal and external.

• Preparing and monitoring key performance and key risk metrics on a weekly and monthly basis

• Reviewing and updating policies and procedures on a periodic basis

What youll bring to the role:

• Ability to establish clear goals and priorities and address non-standard issues within area of expertise with minimal guidance and supervision

• Subject matter expertise in business area supported client requirements and ability to ensure control is not compromised to comply with client requests

• Culture carrier across Operations embracing the Firms core values

• Experienced in Corporate Loan Operations

• Excellent written and verbal communication particularly in technical/business writing and excel skills Knowledge of loan markets specifically performing and non performing across multiple strategies.

• At least 4 years relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role

Salary range for the position: $64000 - $108000 Yr. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business units incentive compensation plan which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
