A Day in the Life: What You Will Do
As a DSP youll partner with individuals to help them live more independent community-focused lives. Your day might include:
Empowerment & Mentoring: Mentoring someone on life skills like cooking cleaning or managing a budget. Providing respectful hands-on assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
Companionship & Behavioral Support: Providing companionship and emotional support perhaps watching a movie engaging in conversation or helping with an evening routine. Serving as a compassionate partner and providing positive behavioral support.
Community & Integration: Providing transportation to a job a doctors appointment or a community event like a cooking class or a swim meet. Supporting individuals with their goals from hobbies to helping them thrive in community-based jobs.
Health & Wellness: Supporting health and wellness by administering medications assisting with mobility and preparing nutritious meals.

Experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) Personal Care Aide (PCA) Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a major plus.
What We Require (The Must-Haves):
A compassionate patient and encouraging attitude
18 years old or older
A valid drivers license reliable transportation and valid auto insurance
A High School Diploma or GED
Ability to pass a background check
