Presbyterian is seeking an LPNto provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients in an Outpatient Clinic. Common responsibilities include preparing the patient for the visit maintaining efficient patient flow assisting the provider with treatments and procedures medication administration support for clerical functions to include scheduling referrals authorization and in-basket support with the EMR.
Type of Opportunity: Full Time (09 FTE/36 hours per week)

Qualifications
- Minimum New graduate or experienced nurse from an accredited practical nursing program
- Licensed Practical Nurse NM
- High School Diploma or GED
- BLS
Responsibilities
- Adheres to the LPN scope of practice by contributing to the assessment of the health status of individuals families and communities.
- Deliver direct patient care including administering treatments as prescribed assisting nurses and physicians with various procedures and documenting individual patient needs actions taken and patient responses.
- Administer prescribed medications including medications given through established parenteral/intravenous infusions as prescribed by physician or standard protocols and document according to policy.
- Document and report patient condition care delivery and post procedure follow up. Assess changes in patient s condition and report to nurse and physician as needed.
- Incorporates nursing activities that create a compassionate supportive and therapeutic environment for patients and staff with the aim of promoting comfort and healing
- Applies Exceptional Patient Experience principles and incorporates into care interactions
