Location: Ithaca NY 14850
Duration: 13 Weeks Schedule: Day Shift 8 hrs/day MonFri Rotating Weekends
Hours: 40/week
Pay: $32$35/hr

Job Summary:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an Inpatient Pharmacy Technician to support hospital pharmacy operations including medication preparation sterile compounding dispensing and inventory management in accordance with hospital state and federal standards.

Responsibilities:

Prepare label and distribute medications under pharmacist supervision.
Restock automated dispensing units and emergency kits; manage inventory and expirations.
Perform sterile compounding (IVs chemo TPN) per USP 797/800.
Repackage bulk meds into unit-dose form.
Support ordering receiving and monthly medication storage inspections.
Complete documentation and reports per department protocols.

Qualifications:

HS Diploma required; pharmacy technician training preferred.
NY Registered Pharmacy Technician PTCB/NHA certification required.
Minimum 1 year hospital/inpatient experience; 23 years preferred.
Strong attention to detail communication skills and proficiency with dispensing systems/software.
