Fleet Maintenance Technician Idealease

Reports To: Idealease Service Manager
Overview
Our Fleet Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing high-quality maintenance and repairs on medium and heavy-duty vehicles within the Idealease fleet. This role ensures safety customer satisfaction and efficient operations by following established repair procedures and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities
- Routine and preventative maintenance repairs and minor repairs
- Use location tools and technologies to log research and complete repairs including basic vehicle diagnostics.
- Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for our customers.
- Doing preventative maintenance repairs - like replacing or rotating tires - and complete vehicle component lubrication and replacement some electrical system repairs and cooling system maintenance on diesel engines vehicles refrigeration equipment lift gates and trailers.
- Partnering with your managers to learn new skills using technician training and hands-on coaching.
- Working on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
General Knowledge and Skills You Will Need
- Must be 18 years of age.
- 1 years hands-on diesel mechanic experience
- Must be able to read and comprehend instruction manuals and diagnostic charts
- Computer Skills & Data Entry (Diagnostics Experience Preferred)
- Valid drivers license and clean driving recordCDL a plus
- Possess own tools and tool box
Desired Education and Experience
- Medium or heavy-duty technician equivalent experience or qualification
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Applicable certifications related to industry products and/or safety
- Valid drivers license is required; currently maintains or can obtain a Commercial Drivers License (CDL)

Our Fleet Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing high-quality maintenance and repairs on medium and heavy-duty vehicles within the Idealease fleet.
